Any medical practitioner with a registrable degree with the Sri Lanka Medical Council under clause 29., and with a recognized postgraduate medical qualification and with training or experience at least one year in oncology and who attend the inaugural meeting of the college will be enrolled as founder member on the payment of the life membership fee.
Ordinary members on payment of the life membership fee shall be eligible for Life membership.
Medical graduate or graduate of allied sciences decided by the council may be elected as associate members. Associate members do not have any voting rights but can be present as an observer.
The council may from time to time elect members as Fellows of the College in recognition of distinguished services rendered to science of oncology.
The council may from time to time admit distinguished persons as honorary members or honorary fellows of the college, in recognition of their exceptional service to oncology such members or fellows shall not be entitled to vote at meeting of the College.
